I really feel that a big thank you is in order for all of your help in making accommodations possible for us at The Lock Up on Clybourn. Due to my business, I find myself at The Lock Up on Clybourn about three or more times per week. Pablo and the staff have always been very helpful, courteous, and accommodating. However, in an effort to save some money, I looked else-where for my personal storage needs. After a challenging experience with Metro Self Storage, I found myself back at The Lock Up. You listened extensively to my situation, and went out of your way to make it work for us. The move was a breeze! The facility and the actual unit are far superior than what was offered at any other company. I just wanted you to know that your efforts have really made a positive impression on me and my family. “I wanted to write and let you know how pleasant my experience has been with your Lincoln Park location and staff. I was looking for a storage unit near my apartment in Lincoln Park last week and called to learn about the options available. I spoke with Pablo who gave me all the information I needed and said he would be able to accommodate my move on the same day. Pablo made me feel very comfortable about going with the Lock Up and I appeared in person an hour later to rent a truck and find a storage unit. When I arrived, Valorie was behind the desk and was more than happy to assist me. She showed me a unit that she thought would be perfect for me and it was. We took care of the paperwork and I took off in the truck. The whole process was much faster and easier than I expected. When I came back with a full truck and without additional help, Valorie was again very quick to assist me. She showed me some tricks to make my move go quicker and visited me several times at my unit to show me better ways to store my items so that everything would fit. I couldn't believe it when every time I would see her she had a dolly of my belongings that I had loaded up and left by the elevator to get later. I can't imagine that it is her role to help people out like that, so I was completely blown away by her willingness to help me. At the end of the day, after I was discouraged about not finishing, we spoke for several minutes and she promised that she would do everything she could to make sure I was settled the next day. The next morning, I went back to the location in order to see if I could use the truck again and Valorie and Pedro were kind enough to let me take it out again. I really felt like they cared about my situation and that they would do anything to help me within reason. I was able to get everything I needed on the second day and once again Valorie was there to make sure that everything fit into my storage unit.
